The Department of History and Ethnology of the Democritus University of Thrace announces a call for applications for admission to the new and accredited Postgraduate Programme “Cultural Studies: Modern Hellenism and the Balkans”. As of September 1, 2025, this program will be administered by the Department of Humanities of Democritus University of Thrace (https://hs.duth.gr). The Postgraduate Programme “Cultural Studies: Modern Hellenism and the Balkans” is delivered entirely (100%) through both synchronous and asynchronous distance learning methods. The full duration of study required to obtain the Master’s Degree (90 ECTS) is three (3) semesters, which includes the time allotted for the preparation and submission of the Master’s Thesis. The total tuition fee for the program is two thousand (2,000) euros, payable in two equal installments at the beginning of the first and second semesters.
Interested candidates are invited to submit their application and required documents from July 28, 2025 to September 30, 2025. Applicants must send all required documents, as specified in the call, via email to the programme’s Secretariat. Applications and supporting documents must be submitted exclusively in digital format (.pdf) within the deadline to the following email address: pmsculturalstudies@he.duth.gr.
